PRETTY BLACK & WHITE PALETTE

Zang Toi’s Spring 2023 Collection was entitled the “Pretty Black and White Palette.” After 2 years following the 2020 pandemic, Zang debuted an impeccable black and white formal Spring collection for the modern woman, who is a confident, empowered leader, known for dressing the Trump family including the late Ivana Trump, Carol Alt, and Miss Universe 2022. For fearless leaders, Zang’s attention to detail must be on point to meet perfection. The opening look was a refined white Swiss cotton organdy floor length off-shoulder dress bordered with pleated ruffles with a black stretch crepe body slip. I had the privilege to work with In House Photographer, Paulina Vela to have an exclusive interview with Zang Toi, I can see as becoming the Royal Family of England’s In-House Designer of 2023.
“The Spring 2023 Collection was inspired by the scene of a gorgeous young lady with a newly discovered appreciation for the beauty of haute couture. She borrows her grandmother’s grand ballroom in a chateau to host a black & white soirée for her gorgeous young friends.”
Zang Toi has always known how to dress the modern woman. Zang always loves to travel, and we shared that his Spring 2021 collection was inspired by his travels to Italy and over the past 2 years, he had spent his time traveling with friends through the mid-west but found it stressful during the pandemic. Eyes of joy, excitement and love were apparent from each guest to eagerly await the Spring 2023 “Pretty Black & White Palette.”
The black and white palette was viewed by front row celebrities, fashion journalists, stylists, designers and editors at The Harmonie Club, a private social club, located on East 60th Street between Madison Ave and 5th Ave. adjacent to Central Park close to Carnegie Hall and the Museum of Modern Art. The club honors tradition while providing their members and families superior contemporary services for dining and entertainment, that like Zang Toi himself, provides a place to foster lasting relationships, camaraderie, and overall well-being in his collection. https://www.harmonieclub.org/
Zang Toi’s Spring 2023 collection was whimsical, elegant, modern, and refined; the designer who would be the only designer for a President’s ball, black tie wedding, private soirée, charity fundraiser on Park Avenue, at The Harvard Club, The Yale Club, or Beverly Hills.
Black Couture Silk Faille Full-Skirted Trench Dress and White Tulle Petticoat Bordered with Pleated Ruffles
The Spring 2023 collection included fabrics such as white Swiss cotton pique, black couture silk faille, black and white peonies and a butterflies’ chiffon print with asymmetric bow and white cotton denim hip-hugging shorts with intricate hand-beaded butterflies, white studs, horsehair and white pleated ruffles all exuding a silk shantung evening stunning black and white palette.
